Meet the Staff

Dr. Daniel Tiesworth, DDS

Dr. Tiesworth earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2015. Prior to that, he practiced as a dental hygienist for almost 10 years in Virginia Beach with a small general dental office as well as a gum specialty practice. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from Old Dominion University in 2002 followed by graduate work at ODU towards a Master’s in Science of Biology. After being accepted at VCU School of Dentistry he moved to Chesterfield where he continues to live with his
wife, Keri, and their three sons Christian, Liam and Oliver.

“I love to spend time with my family travelling to new places and doing outdoor activities. Whether its family camping trips, kayaking, hitting the beach, or fly fishing in the mountains I am in my happy place outdoors. Hanging out with Otto is another favorite past time of mine. He is our Golden Retriever and is always ready to go on one of our family adventures!”

Of course, I enjoy the artistic hands-on aspect of helping people achieve a beautiful smile, but growing and sharing a life with what I consider to be friends and family while at work – that gives each day real meaning.”

Tina – Office Administrator

“I was born and raised in south Florida. I moved to Chesterfield to be closer to my parents and I joined the practice as a dental assistant in 2014. About 3 years ago I transitioned into an administrative and treatment coordinator role. I enjoy talking with patients when they come in and being helpful in any way that I can. I have an amazing husband and 4 beautiful kids. When I’m not working I love spending time with family, going to the movie theatre, trying new restaurants, riding roller coasters and relaxing at the beach.”

 “I’ve been with the team at Tiesworth Family Dentistry for almost four years now. I enjoy conversations with our patients and helping to make great smiles. When I am not at the office I enjoy spending time with my family hunting and fishing the Chesapeake Bay. My fiancé and I have a great little home in New Kent where we keep 8 chickens that provide a ton of eggs. We also have two Chesapeake bay retrievers named Levi and Ollie that keep us on our toes and laughing.”

“Hey y’all I’ve been with Dr. Tiesworth’s office for a year now! I like to help patients feel comfortable at the office and I like giving them a reason to smile. My husband CJ and I are residents of Dinwiddie county and love hanging out with our two goofy dogs. When I am not working, I ride and care for my horses, spend time with my chickens and of course do some bass fishing in any creek or river we find!”
